Castings from ZAMAK zinc alloys - materials for the production of zinc castings

TENZA cast, a.s. from the Czech Republic custom-made castings from three types of ZAMAK zinc alloys. Materials for the production of zinc alloys comply with the European standard EN 1774.

The main activities of the foundry TENZA cast, a.s. from Adamov near Brno in the Czech Republic is the production of precision zinc alloy castings. These materials for the production of zinc alloys correspond to the European standard EN 1774. The choice of zinc alloy mainly affects the mechanical-physical properties of the casting.

In our foundry we use three types of ZAMAK zinc alloys - ZL5, ZL2 and ZL3. The composition of individual alloys is as follows:

- ZAMAK 5 (Zn410) - ZnAl4Cu1
- ZAMAK 3 (Zn400) - ZnAl
- ZAMAK 2 (Zn 430) – ZnAlCu3
